WOW 32 years with a great organization.
It has been simply wonderful . Getting to know so many Pharmacy Technicians from so many States & Countries.
My first Convention was in Atlanta, Ga.  I have make so so many relationships with each Convention I  have attended.
I have been the recipient of the following  AAPT Awards :
2003 Founders Award

Over the years, I have volunteered in many areas of AAPT, including: serving as secretary, president, Federal Forum Representative for the Veterans Administration, and the AAPT Advisory Board. I have had many opportunities over the years to travel and speak to pharmacy technicians about AAPT and it’s importance that it has had to advance technicians into the future.

I have enjoyed being a part of AAPT for many years. I have served in many aspects with AAPT (on the board, teaching, speaker) and continue to do so today. I had never traveled out of North Carolina until a friend told me about AAPT. AAPT holds a dear spot in my heart. Not only do I get the CEs I need for renewal but I have made some lifelong friendships. I enjoy going to the AAPT annual convention each year to network with new technicians and to catch up with the ones I only see during this time each year. The experience alone has been wonderful from the learning, serving, and networking. I look forward to helping for many more years to come.

I have been an AAPT member for  over 25 years.  I have been on the board and volunteered to serve on several  committees.  AAPT is an organization for technicians, run by technicians. It is an excellent way to meet new people, earn CEs and network. I am retired, but still proud to be a member.
