This presentation will describe a pathway for pharmacy technicians interested in pursuing a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. Learn practical tips and tricks for completing prerequisites, how to apply, and what to consider in preparation for pharmacy school.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based CPE activity, pharmacy technicians should be able to:

  1. Identify pathways a pharmacy technician may consider if interested in successfully applying to a Doctor of Pharmacy program.
  2. Determine various experiences and characteristics that make a quality candidate for PharmD entrance. 
  3. Describe real-world examples of pharmacy technicians who took a non-traditional approach to their pharmacy education.
