- Summarize the basic provisions of the Controlled Substances Act and how the Closed System of Distribution helps reduce the potential for drug diversion.
- List the required components which must be included on a prescription for a controlled substance, in order for the prescription to be considered a valid prescription.
- Give examples of unusual behaviors or “Red Flags,” which may indicate a prescription is fraudulent or was not issued for a legitimate medical purpose.
