CALLING FOR DISTINGUISHED TEACHER/TRAINER NOMINEES
AAPT holds high regard to those who share their skills and knowledge with others. “…It is through teaching that we learn…”.
This AAPT award is designed to recognize excellence of teaching and learning for pharmacy technicians who are engaged in training and teaching other pharmacy technicians. In the 21st Century, pharmacy technicians attend formal learning programs where teachers make a difference in how our profession grows. AAPT further recognizes that many pharmacy technicians gain their knowledge and skillset during a facility-driven training process. For this reason, AAPT recognizes and honors both teacher and trainer categories. Nominations can be submitted to AAPT’s national office between March 1 and April 30. Qualified nominations are reviewed by AAPT leadership & Executive Officers at their annual meeting held during annual Convention. One nomination will be chosen as the recipient and awarded at the Annual National Convention Awarding Ceremony. The Nominee must be present at Annual National Convention to win.
